lameatlas

A private, self-hosted diary of where I have been.

lameatlas assembles a personal timeline from sources I already own — my own location history, photo metadata, calendar, card statements, travel tickets and transactional email — and presents them as a day-by-day record. It runs on my own hardware, for my own use.

Why it asks for Gmail access

Receipts are the part of a day that nothing else records. A food order, a hotel confirmation, an event ticket or a rail booking says where I was and when, in a way no GPS trace does. lameatlas reads those confirmation emails so the timeline can include them.

• Access is read-only (gmail.readonly).
• Only messages from known transactional senders are opened.
• Nothing is sent anywhere. There is no server but mine.

Who it is for

One person: me. It is not a product, there is no sign-up, and there are no other users.
